Each year the Tasmanian Branch awards a number of prizes, as outlined below. In addition from 2007 onwards the branch has awarded a book prize to the Best Student at each school/college in TCE Economics.

* The Best Honours Dissertation in Economics Prize was renamed in 2005, to the Jenny Milne Memorial Prize for the best Honours dissertation in Economics in honour of Jenny Milne. Scott McNamara was the inaugural winner of the Jenny Milne Memorial Prize.
