Membership Information
Members receive a regular newsletter, issues of Economic Analysis and Policy and are entitled to bring guests to Society functions at a special fee. Members (other than Associate members) are entitled to vote at general meetings of the Society.
Full professional membership is open to financial members of the Economic Society of Australia (Qld Inc.) who have completed a three year degree in economics or related quantitative subjects, and have worked in a position which requires the application of their training for a period of at least three years. Please complete this application form and forward it to the Economic Society of Australia, Queensland Inc, PO Box 1170, Brisbane, 4001.
Member's obligations are to abide by the rules of the Society and their liability for membership dues accrues till their resignation of the Society. Failure to pay membership dues does not lead to termination of membership.
