The Productivity Commission is the Australian Government’s independent researcher and adviser on key microeconomic and social issues affecting the welfare of Australians.
We have openings in both our offices for high calibre graduates, or prospective graduates, with a major in Economics (preferably at honours level or higher) and good analytical and economic research skills. The work is wide-ranging, encompassing issues relating to trade, industry policy, competition policy and regulation, the environment and natural resources, labour markets, and economic and social infrastructure.
A comprehensive graduate training program complements on-the-job training. Graduates have excellent advancement and career prospects.
The remuneration package comprises a salary of $57,000 plus superannuation, totalling just over $65,700. To be eligible for engagement, applicants must hold Australian citizenship.
