Dr Henry Ergas, Professor Jeff Bennett, and the former Clerk of the Senate, Harry Evans will speak on challenges to good governance in contemporary Australia. Questions, comments and discussion from the floor will follow.
The topics traversed include the use multi-criterion analysis and cost benefit analysis, the effectiveness of regulation impact assessments and performance indicators, hurdles to information access, the accountability of government agencies and the governance of political parties.
